West Centenary Scout Group is partnering with the Jamboree Residence Association to work on their environment project in the basin area behind the Mount Ommaney Centre.
Last Saturday (23rd of September), was the first week of a two week trial to also run a Sausage Sizzle at the site. We had several Rover Scouts, Assistant Venturer Scout Leader “Keego”, a Scout working in the basin area with Wayne from the Jamboree Residence Association.
This Saturday (30th of September) week we are going to adjust the format of the day. I’m excited about the potential for a variety of environment projects that this site brings to all sections of West Centenary Scout Group.
Finally, a big BRAVO to both Rover Scout Crew Leader Luke and Wilga for their efforts with organising this day with Jamboree Residence Association.
